Colophon

This site is built by the system it describes

The rest of this site argues that agents can do real work if you give them structure, memory and a place to stop. This page is the evidence for that claim, which means it has to be specific about what the agent actually does and what it is not allowed to.

What builds it

The agent is Corey, running on Claude Code. It reads a memory tree of plain markdown, loads the skill that matches the task, does the work in the repository, and opens a pull request. It does not have a special integration with this website - it edits files and runs the build, the same way I would.

The site is Astro, styled with Tailwind, hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Search is Pagefind, built as a post-build step. The theme began as a fork of Breeze and has diverged; the upstream author's commits are still in the history. The full reasoning for each tool is on the stack page.

65 commits since February 2026. Counted from git at build time, so this number is current as of the last deploy rather than the last time someone remembered to update it.

What it does without asking

Everything here is reversible in a branch, so there is no reason to make a human sit in the middle of it.

  • Drafting and revising page copy
  • Building and restyling pages
  • Restructuring routes and generating redirects
  • Dependency bumps and refactors
  • Fixing broken links, metadata and structured data
  • Opening pull requests against this repository

What waits for me

Published, paid for, or impossible to undo. The gate is in the process, not in an instruction I gave the model - a rule that can be argued out of the context was never a rule.

Publishing anything new to the live site
It is public and carries my name.
Merging to main and deploying
Deployment is the moment it stops being reversible in private.
Anything involving money or credentials
No agent I run holds live payment authority.
Deleting or unpublishing content
Irreversible, and link equity is easy to destroy by accident.

Where the words come from

Worth being straight about, because a lot of sites are not. The agent drafts. I edit, cut, and approve. Nothing publishes that I have not read.

The opinions are mine and the mistakes are mine. If something here is wrong, it is because I approved it, not because a model wrote it.

What is not here

No contact form, no newsletter capture, no enquiry funnel, no services. This site exists to explain how the work is done, not to convert anyone who reads it.

No tracking beyond aggregate page counts. No cookies set for advertising, no third-party analytics scripts profiling readers. See the privacy page for specifics.
